Davey- Knock, knock
Daisy – Who’s there?
Davey – Davey.
Daisy – Davey who?
Davey – No, it’s me. Davey. Let me in.
Inside………
Davey – So, here we are, then.
Daisy – Yes, here we are.
Davey- This is it, then.
Daisy – Yes, this is it.
Davey – I can’t wait. Can you?
Daisy – No, I can’t wait.
Davey – After all this time.
Daisy – Yes, after all this time.
Davey – Blimey. It’s brilliant, isn’t it.
Daisy – Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
Davey – I’ve been waiting for this.
Daisy – Yes, so have I.
Daisy – Davey.
Davey – What.
Daisy – What are you talking about?
Davey – I’m talking about Daisy and Davey’s Christmas Annual 2011.
Daisy – Oh, yes. When are we on?
Davey – Well, I’m just looking at Christmas Day, BBC One, in the early evening.
Daisy – Nope. I don’t think we’re there.
Davey – We must be on ITV, then.
Daisy – Don’t think so.
Davey – Maybe a bit later.
Daisy- Can’t see it there either.
Davey – Well they probably put us on Boxing Day. We’re probably a bit too clever for the sort of crowd you get on Christmas night.
Daisy – No. There’s just films on all night then.
Davey – We’re not on Channel 4, are we?
Daisy – No. There’s just a documentary about how they made tractors in communist Russia in the 1930’s.
Davey – Are we in that?
Daisy – No.
Davey – Oh, I remember. They said they might put us on the radio. Have a look at Radio 2.
Daisy – No. It’s just Liam Gallagher’s Top 50 Swear Words, followed by concerts by Simply Red, Coldplay, Genesis and then an appeal from The Samaritans.
Davey – Are we on Radio 5?
Daisy – No. They’re just talking about football.
Davey – We must be on Radio 1, then, I suppose.
Daisy – Davey.
Davey- What?
Daisy – I don’t know exactly what you think of me…
Davey – I like you. We’re best mates.
Daisy – ….but even I, desperate and hopeless though I may seem, wouldn’t be on Radio 1, would I?
Davey – No, no. I can see that.
Daisy – So, what are we going to do?
Davey – Same as last year, then. Just change it about a bit. Put a few new bits in and hope that nobody notices that half of it’s the same as last year.
Daisy- Yes. Okay. Let’s do that.
Daisy and Davey – Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to
Daisy and Davey’s Christmas Annual 2011.
